The Kevlar carbon grids have more tensil strength than you'll ever need for expansive soil conditions. Many dealers offer a lifetime warranty. The grids are usually 4" wide or so and each grid goes from floor to ceiling on the wall. There are no holes made in the floor or wall for their installation.

I have to decide quickly whether to use the carbon fiber (kevlar) or the Reinforcer to stabilize my bowing and cracking walls. Which is the better option? Both seem equally acceptable. But the carbon fiber does not restore bowing walls, only stops them. Seems the Reinforcer actually restores to original. Help, please. Thanks

Both Fortress carbon kevlar and The Reinforcer carbon plate do what they are designed to do. The main difference is one is an open grid which is embedded in epoxy and the other is a plate which is encapsulated in the epoxy.
NO Carbon restores foundation to original position. They will strengthen tensil.
