      Moisture in wood furniture

I thank you for your post however you are submitting links unauthorized adveritisements.

To answer the question However to reduce moisture problems in basements you would need a dehumidifier and or central air system installed.

You can keep your wooden furniture as protected one from moisture by using oils which is specially recommended by the manufacturers. This help you much in protecting your furniture from moisture.

How do you know which oils to apply to old furniture where you can't really get the information like what oils the manufacturers recommend etc.?

There are several good oils even the old tried and true ones our parents used. Wood furniture oils with waxing and leather furniture needing more of a lotion based.

A dehumidifier is the best option to avoid moisture.
