foundation repair methods

Ihave a leaking crack in the vertical foundation wall of my basement in my home in the Schaumburg, Illinois area. Contractors have suggested two different methods of repairing it 1) chipping out and sealing the crack with high density cement and a flexible epoxy coating 2) using a hydrophobic polyurethane grout injection followed by covering with a epoxy paste covering.
Any comments on the methods or should I seek another contractor with a better method. Both have been around for several years, have satisfactory ratings with the BBB and offer lifetime warranties. I just have no way of objectively evaluating the methods.

A.C.I Guidlines For crack repair offers many metohds from epoxy injection to grouting sealing and stiching. There is no universal method. If these contractors have a good track record with these metohds they have worked.
