Poured Concrete wall foundation

Hi guys, i've recently moved into a house which is about 20 yrs old or so and the basement is unfinished. There is three locations that have had cracks and they were repaired once before. This is our second winter in this house and last year the cracks didn't leak but they are leaking now. I've been scouring the internet for info on using urethane injection so i went to the local hardware store and bought a kit but now i have the stuff to try i'm not sure how to go about this. In some areas of the crack i can see the crack then it disappears and starts a few inches up the wall again and so forth.

Would it be wise to chase the crack with a diamond blade first or would it be better to drill into the wall and try and intersect the crack that way and install the ports for injection?

I work in the construction industry and i have seen this urethane injecting lots of times on same jobs and its pretty amazing what this stuff can do. But have no one to ask about it now .

Crack Injection

Injecting a "dirty crack" or previously repaired crack can be tricky.

When a crack is previously repaired it usually rips open is small sections, therefore getting an injection to properly fill crack while traveling port to port is not known. Chasing the crack will help, but still may not fully travel into crack itself.

Intersecting crack also is an option. Still you have the unknown of inside the wall. You may also drill to outside and inject a barrier on exterior of wall-or excavate-or may other methods.

Try chasing crack first and inject slowly trying to allow material to locate voids before traveling up to next port.

You state you already purchased kit. You will find some informational videos on Emecole's Website:
